Gold passports have become a modern day ultimate luxury status symbol replacing fast cars, yachts and expensive jewellery among the rich and wealthy.

The Rich and wealthy are spending six figures for passports and citizenship.

According to a recent Knight Frank 2019 survey, there are an estimated 71,300 UHNWI’s already hold a second passport. That is one third of them already hold one, while another one third are planning to obtain one. Ultra high-net-worth individuals (UHNWI) are those as having a net worth of at least US$30 million

What is a Gold passport?

Gold passports are special passports acquired through citizenship by investment (CBI) schemes. Today there are close to dozen countries that offer ‘Gold’ passports for economic investments through Citizenship by Investment (CBI) schemes. This involves one time donation to state fund or in real estate.

The Good news is gold passports are now equally affordable to many, offering a new life, with mobility and freedom to families, starting from $100,000.

Quite contrary to many think of, acquiring Gold passports is not easy as one, two, three. All Applicants are subjected applicants to extensive vetting process. Those who fail background checks may not qualify for gold passports.
