Cyprus ranked as the best citizenship by investment program in Europe, taking the first spot among european countries for 2020. The rankings were published after evaluating 30 important factors that were important to clients interests and needs.

- Travel freedom in terms of visa waivers
- Lifetime citizenship benefits
Cypriot citizenship by investment scheme is limited to only 700 applications per year and recently the government has tightened conditions for acquisition of citizenship through real estate investment.
