Overview

Argentina announced the launch of citizenship program for significant investments through a Decree 524/2025 published July 30, 2025. Decree 366/25 amended Citizenship Law 346, grants citizenship by naturalization for financial investments. On Oct 2, 2026, The Ministry officially announced the commencement of CBI program in Q4 2026. The Government has formed a special citizenship by investments program agency to process applications and issue a report recommending to the National Directorate of Immigration the approval or rejection of investment applications.

The National Directorate of Migration (DNM), under the Ministry of the Interior, will begin processing naturalization applications for foreigners. A CUIT (tax ID) will be issued to approved investors by Argentina’s Revenue and Customs Contol Agency.
