Overview

Egypt grants citizenship to foreign investors under its amended Nationality Law through four routes: a non-refundable contribution of US$250,000, real estate from US$300,000 held for five years, a business investment of US$350,000 plus a US$100,000 contribution, or a US$500,000 bank deposit returned after three years. A US$10,000 state fee applies, and all funds must be transferred in US dollars from abroad.
