Vanuatu has launched a new citizenship by investment program and one can qualify for a passport by paying $200,000 to the Government. Citizens of Vanuatu also qualify for a Vanuatu passport.
Vanuatu signed a mutual visa waiver agreement with Russia on 20 September 2016 wich entered into force on 21 October 2016. Vanuatu passport also have visa free access to Schengen Area, United Kingdom and over 100 countries in total.
